When swapping out your wardrobe for the season, there's now one more option for where those clothes can go. The Tide News app has teamed up with Qianbao Yanxuan to launch a convenience recycling service for old clothes called "Zheli Shou." After users book online, SF Express couriers pick up the items at their door for free, and the earnings can be withdrawn via WeChat the next day after recycling is completed.
According to information released by the platform, the service has a promotional price: from now until October 30, 2026, the recycling rate is 0.9 yuan/kg, and from October 31 it will return to 0.7 yuan/kg. The minimum order threshold is 5 kg. Users need to find the "Old Clothing Recycling" entry in the Tide News app under "Mine—Services" or on the homepage of the Qianbao Yanxuan WeChat mini-program, fill in the pickup address, and submit a booking. An SF courier will come to the door to pack and take the items away, and after verification is completed, the earnings are automatically credited. Orders cannot be placed for door-to-door pickup if the deducted weight is insufficient.
In terms of accepted categories, the platform does not limit brand or condition, provided the clothing is clean and dry, with no large areas of damage and no dampness. Specifically, this includes old clothes, pairs of old shoes, old bags without wheels, bed sheets and duvet covers, curtains, plush toys within 1 meter, and cotton textile items.
The platform also emphasized the environmental benefits of the service, saying that for every 1 kg of waste textiles recycled, 3.6 kg of carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced and 6,000 liters of water saved.
From an industry perspective, this type of C-end recycling model, in which a local media platform cooperates with an express delivery company, connects door-to-door pickup capability with the demand to turn recycling into cash, and is an attempt to extend China's old clothing recycling channels toward lower-tier markets and greater everyday convenience.
