Where to process the Niger ECTN (BESC)

About the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN/BESC)

According to regulations gradually implemented by African countries since 2010, goods shipped to various regions of Africa must obtain a CTN NO. before loading, and the cargo tracking note number (CTN NO) must be indicated on the bill of lading and manifest. Otherwise, it may result in the shipping company refusing to issue the original ocean bill of lading, the destination port customer being unable to clear customs, and the resulting high government penalties.

CTN NO. is the abbreviation of Cargo Tracking Note Number. In Chinese, it means: cargo tracking number, also known as the cargo import manifest.

BESC is the abbreviation of the French Bordereau Eletronique de Suivi des Cargaisons, meaning electronic cargo tracking note in Chinese, and its English abbreviations are CTN or ECTN.
