[Germany] Annual Old Clothes Drive by the Kolping Family in Eslarn, Germany Kicks Off in September
- 管理员1
The Kolpingsfamilie in Eslarn, in the Upper Palatinate region of Bavaria, Germany, will hold its annual old clothes collection on September 11 and 12. This is a charitable tradition the organization has continued for decades.
The collection is divided into two periods: from 17:00 on September 11 (Friday), Kolping members will drive farm vehicles with trailers to collect in surrounding areas; from 8:00 on September 12 (Saturday), the effort shifts to cover the town itself. Collection bags will be placed in advance at the entrance of the parish church for residents to pick up.
The items collected include clothing, bed sheets and tablecloths, bedding, and shoes, with shoes needing to be tied together in pairs. The organizers especially remind residents to bag only items in good condition and to place them on their own property in advance, ensuring they are clearly visible so collectors can pick them up promptly.
