Trumbull, Connecticut, recently announced the expansion of its textile recycling program with the addition of a third Bay State Textile drop-off bin at the TEaM Transfer Station, located at 101 Spring Hill Road. Residents can drop off clean, bagged used textiles for reuse or recycling while visiting the transfer station to dispose of other waste and recyclables.

The program is operated by Bay State Textile and aims to divert discarded textiles such as sheets, clothing, footwear, and accessories from the solid waste stream. The town reminds residents that all items placed in the bins must be clean and bagged.

For more information on accepted items and the addresses of all recycling locations throughout town, visit the Textile Recycling Program page on the Town of Trumbull's official website.
