On April 23, 2025, China Resource Recycling Group Green Fiber Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "China Resource Recycling Green Fiber Company") was officially unveiled in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. This marks a key step in the green fiber sector layout by China Resource Recycling Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "China Resource Recycling") since its establishment on October 18, 2024.

At the unveiling ceremony, Li Zhongjun, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, and Liu Yu, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Resource Recycling, jointly unveiled the company. Chen Shijie, head of China Resource Recycling Green Fiber Company, stated that the company will be based in Wuxi and radiate nationwide, with the goal of promoting full closed-loop recycling of green fibers, focusing on three major sectors: recycled materials, green products, and service platforms, to build a "national team" for green fiber recycling. The company plans to focus on key technologies addressing industry bottlenecks, conducting joint research on high-value utilization of waste textiles and development of functional green fibers, and promoting technological innovation, management innovation, and business model innovation.

Zhao Jianjun, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Wuxi, pointed out in his speech that Wuxi is a key city in the national waste materials recycling system construction, and its advantageous industries such as high-end textile and apparel align with China Resource Recycling's development strategy. He stated that both parties will collaborate closely in industrial resource integration, distinctive park layout, supply chain procurement and recycling, and e-commerce platform construction.

During the event, China Resource Recycling Green Fiber Company signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Wuxi Municipal Government, China Textile Information Center, China Quality Certification Center, Jiangnan University, and the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, aiming to lead the cultivation and growth of the industrial ecosystem and smooth the green fiber recycling chain through government-enterprise cooperation, university-enterprise cooperation, and enterprise-enterprise cooperation.

Liu Yu, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Resource Recycling, stated that China Resource Recycling will fully leverage the functional role of central enterprises, promote deep integration of the resource recycling network with the advanced manufacturing system, and make positive contributions to the high-quality development of the resource recycling industry in the Yangtze River Delta.

After its establishment, China Resource Recycling Green Fiber Company will take Wuxi as its starting point, base itself in the Yangtze River Delta, and gradually build a nationwide recycled fiber industrial base.
