- The Liaoning·Tacheng "Belt and Road" Industrial Collaboration and Investment Promotion Matchmaking Conference held on the same day invited more than 200 enterprises and nearly 300 participants.
- The Tacheng side proposed leveraging the Baketu Port to promote the export of Liaoning's high-quality production capacity to Central Asia, Russia, and Europe.
Aydin Toliuhan, Deputy Secretary of the Tacheng Prefectural Party Committee and Commissioner of the Administrative Office, delivered a speech at the meeting, and Luo Kuiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Prefectural Party Committee and Commander-in-Chief of the Liaoning Front Command for Aid to Xinjiang, presided over the meeting. The Tacheng Regional Commerce Bureau gave an overall investment promotion presentation, followed by presentations on the Xinjiang Tacheng Key Development and Opening-up Pilot Zone Pioneer Development Area, the mineral industry of Toli County, and the biomanufacturing industry of Wusu City. Representatives from Liaoning Grain Development Group and Tacheng Region Cathay (Wusu) Biomaterials Co., Ltd. spoke successively, discussing opportunities for Liaota industrial collaboration.
According to the meeting, Tacheng is located at the forefront of China's westward opening, and the Baketu Port connects Central Asia and radiates to Eurasia. It is currently focusing on developing key industries such as border trade logistics, specialty agriculture and animal husbandry, clean energy, and cultural tourism. Liaoning has advantages in industry, technology, and production capacity, while Tacheng has port corridors and overseas markets. Both sides hope to promote the export of Liaoning's high-quality production capacity through the Baketu Port to Central Asia, Russia, and Europe.
Qu Shiji, Director of the Finance and Economic Development Department of the Liaoning Front Command for Aid to Xinjiang, said that the purpose of this meeting was to leverage the complementary industrial advantages of Liaota, promote the resources, policies, and investment projects of the Xinjiang Tacheng Key Development and Opening-up Pilot Zone and its counties and cities, and build a platform for government-enterprise cooperation and production-sales supply-demand matchmaking.
Zhou Jinfeng, General Manager of Shenqi Zhixing (Shenyang) Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., said he hoped to combine the technological and product advantages of Shenqi Group with Tacheng's location and policy advantages, so that vehicles "made by Shenqi" and made in Liaoning can reach Central Asia and broader international markets through China-Europe freight trains and the Baketu Port.
This conference invited more than 200 enterprises, with nearly 300 participants. The textile and apparel industry matchmaking conference, as a supporting event of the day, promoted further expansion of cooperation paths between Liaota in the textile industry through face-to-face exchanges and point-to-point matchmaking. For the used clothing trade and textile and apparel export industry, the Baketu Port's corridor capacity toward Central Asia, Russia, and Europe, along with the Liaota industrial collaboration mechanism, provides a new matchmaking window for relevant enterprises to plan westward exports.
