All four major down raw material categories fell this period. Grey duck down 90% was quoted at 530.78 yuan/kg, down 6.89 yuan; white duck down 90% at 559.44 yuan/kg, down 8.04 yuan; grey goose down 90% at 905.61 yuan/kg, down 11.65 yuan; and white goose down 90% at 972.76 yuan/kg, down 11.69 yuan. The decline in goose down was noticeably larger than in duck down, with both white goose down and grey goose down falling by more than 11 yuan, while white duck down and grey duck down fell in the 7 to 8 yuan range. The upstream raw material side is weakening overall, which may lower procurement costs for down-type supply in the sorting stage of used clothing exports, but attention must be paid to whether downstream filled-product demand can absorb it; the short-term market is likely to remain weak and consolidating.
