From August 17 to 19, the first out-of-province special session of Fujian's "Hundred Enterprises, Thousand Products, Strong Chain Matchmaking" series for the textile, apparel and footwear industry—the "Fujian Textile, Apparel and Footwear New Products Zhejiang Tour"—was held in Shaoxing, Taizhou and Wenzhou in Zhejiang. With the theme "New Quality Leads the Weaving of Splendor, Fujian-Style Footwear and Apparel Links the World," the event combined venue presentations with on-site inspections, facilitating cooperation on industrial and supply chains between 16 enterprises from Fujian and Zhejiang. Eight projects were signed on site, with the signed amount (including intentions) exceeding 100 million yuan.

The matchmaking conference organized more than 20 leading Fujian enterprises, including Jinyuan, Haitian and Xiangxing, as well as representatives from universities, research institutes and industry associations, to go deep into Zhejiang's textile industry clusters and engage in face-to-face exchanges with more than 80 local Zhejiang apparel industry upstream and downstream enterprises and business association leaders, including Qiaodun and Dixiang. The total number of participants exceeded 200. At the event, Fujian enterprises showcased innovative products such as new textile materials and functional fabrics, while Zhejiang parties including Yongshenghai, Yicai Fashion and Shiben Group released procurement and cooperation needs. In addition, the Fujian delegation visited well-known apparel enterprises and platforms such as the Wenzhou Elephant City International Fabric and Accessories Center and the Taizhou Hardshell Jacket Science and Innovation Park, further expanding interprovincial collaboration channels.

According to statistics, since Fujian launched the "Hundred Enterprises, Thousand Products, Strong Chain Matchmaking" series in May 2026, the province has signed a total of 25 projects through supply-demand matchmaking, financial cooperation and other forms, with a total signed amount (including intentions) exceeding 1.7 billion yuan. Textile, apparel and footwear is a leading pillar industry in Fujian. In the first half of 2026, the province's textile industrial added value increased by 7.2% year on year, 4.2 percentage points higher than the national average. Next, Fujian plans to continue deepening interprovincial industrial collaboration, expand the breadth and depth of matchmaking, and support the development of a modern textile, apparel and footwear industrial cluster.
