(Integrated Standard) Since January 1, 2008, the Republic of Angola, in order to further monitor the origin of goods and thereby better grasp the unit price and origin of loaded cargo, all goods shipped to Angolan ports such as Lobito, Namibia, Luanda, and Cabinda must apply for CNCA. If this certificate is not applied for, it will be deemed a violation of Angola's transport regulations for shipments, and customs clearance cannot be completed smoothly locally. Moreover, there are strict rules for retroactive CNCA applications; applications made after the container arrives at port will incur huge fines and may be rejected, and severe penalties will be imposed at the destination port.

How to apply for Angola CNCA

CNCA: Conselho Nacional De Carregadores De Angola. According to the regulations of the Angolan Port Authority, CNCA must be processed by the shipper at the port of origin. Some shipping companies also require the corresponding CNCA certificate number to be marked on the bill of lading before the final original ocean bill of lading can be issued.

Angola CNCA application process

  1. The applicant provides the application form (CNCA APPLICATION FORM), draft bill of lading (DRAFT B/L COPY), commercial invoice (Commercial Invoice), and DU document;

  2. After receiving the above materials, a formal quotation will be issued. The applicant arranges payment and scans and sends the payment slip to us (Integrated Standard);

  3. After receiving the remittance, we will issue the draft CNCA based on the information provided by the applicant;

  4. After the applicant confirms the draft CNCA, our company arranges the original CNCA and issues the CNCA number;

Note: a. The CNCA certificate must be processed before the shipping company issues the original ocean bill of lading.

b. Each bill of lading requires at least one CNCA.
