On September 21, the fan group "Lemonade" of artist Tian Xuning announced the launch of its first old clothing recycling drive, in partnership with second-hand recycling agency "Old Clothes Recycling - Dangdang Yixia."

According to the event plan, Lemonade will exchange all the old clothing collected in this drive for stationery, extracurricular books, and sports equipment, to be delivered in the name of "Tian Xuning Fan Lemonade" to Gaola Primary School in the Sichuan-Yunnan border region. This means the recycled clothing is not directly donated, but rather converted through exchange into supplies suitable for school-age children.

Lemonade stated that it has long been involved in public welfare and hopes to integrate charity into daily life. This drive connects the disposal of old clothing with the supply needs of mountainous schools, giving idle old items an outlet for secondary use.

For the old clothing recycling industry, this case demonstrates a common practice — fan groups or community organizations act as front-end collectors, connecting with professional recycling agencies to convert recycling proceeds into charitable supplies for designated purposes. Unlike market-oriented bulk exports or regeneration processing, such small-scale special events have limited recycling volumes, but they can cover stable community channels with clear sources, and are often used by platforms to boost public participation.
