From breaking ground in Jianli County to rolling out across all of Jingzhou, the waste textile recycling network woven by Yihuishou and Hubei Post is trying to find a stable outlet for idle old clothes sitting in residents' homes.

Starting in Jianli: 314 Postal Collection Points Connected

On January 14, 2026, Jingzhou Hengyi Yihuishou and Jianli Post officially signed an agreement. Leveraging the postal service's network reaching deep into townships and communities, residents can drop off their sorted old clothes at any of Jianli's 314 postal collection points nearby, and couriers then transport the old clothes back to transfer stations via reverse logistics, where they are consolidated into full truckloads and shipped to Hengyi's Jiangling base.

After the pilot proved successful, the cooperation was upgraded in February 2026 to a city-wide strategic partnership at the Jingzhou Postal level, replacing the originally scattered and isolated recycling points with a recycling network connecting urban and rural areas. In this chain, the postal service handles outlet coverage and logistics transportation, while Yihuishou takes on standardized settlement and back-end resource regeneration processing.

Currently, the postal line under the city-wide pilot in Jingzhou recycles nearly 300 tons of waste textiles per month. According to the article, this not only reduces carbon emissions but also brings incremental income to frontline postal carriers, creating a win-win situation for residents, enterprises, and the postal service.

24-Hour Unmanned Smart Devices Enter Communities

On September 14, 2026, Yihuishou partnered with Jianli City Post to launch the first batch of co-branded smart recycling bins in Jiangwu Community on Jingjiang Road, Jianli City. Lu Xingyu, head of Yihuishou's Jingzhou operations, and Liu Lei, head of Jianli City Post's delivery business department, were present to witness the project's launch. Going forward, these smart recycling bins will also cover the entire urban area of Jianli.

Running in parallel with online appointments and outlet drop-offs, the 24-hour unmanned smart recycling devices allow residents to drop off old clothes right downstairs without being limited by recycling hours, offering more options for the city's complex business landscape.

Next Step: Exporting Experience Across Hubei Province

According to the two parties' plans, more than 6,000 additional outlets will join the "Green Textile" recycling project in the future. As of the publication date, Jingzhou, Xiangyang, Xiaogan, Shiyan, Suizhou, and Zhongxiang have all completed cooperation agreements, and the two sides will also explore a postal unmanned vehicle direct transport model.

Yihuishou is a technology brand under Hengyi Group focused on the circular regeneration field, founded in 2024. Leveraging its parent company's technological and industrial chain advantages in chemical fibers, it uses chemical regeneration technology independently developed by the Hengyi Research Institute to build a closed-loop industrial chain from waste textiles to new materials. When the postal service's public service network is deeply integrated with the regeneration and circular industry, the path of old clothes starting from wardrobes and reaching regeneration factories via postal routes may provide a replicable operational model for other provinces and cities.
