On September 24, A-share textile manufacturing stocks collectively rose in early trading. Data from Tonghuashun showed that as of the midday close, the sector was up 1.44% overall. Among individual stocks, Huamao Shares opened at the daily limit with a "one-line" board, sealing its second consecutive trading day at the limit, with buy orders at the limit reaching 501,800 lots; Huasheng Shares also hit the limit; Jinying Shares, Huasheng Technology, and Huali Group all rose more than 3% during intraday trading.

The factors driving sector sentiment were summarized by the market into three aspects.

On the policy side, on September 22, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Light Industry and Textile Industry." The plan proposes that by 2030, the intelligence, green development, and integration levels of the light industry and textile industry will continuously improve, the average annual growth rate of industrial value added above designated size will remain within a reasonable range, overall labor productivity will grow steadily, the innovation system will be efficiently coordinated, transformation and upgrading will advance steadily, the structure and layout will be further optimized, and the position in the global industrial chain and value chain will be significantly enhanced. The plan lists 11 anticipated targets, including revenue of enterprises above designated size exceeding 30 trillion yuan.

On the fundamentals side, data from the General Administration of Customs showed that in US dollar terms, China's textile and apparel exports in August increased 7.7% year-on-year, of which apparel exports increased 12.3% year-on-year and textile exports increased 2.4% year-on-year; in RMB terms, textile and apparel exports increased 2.0% year-on-year, while textile exports fell 3.0%, with exchange rate changes having a relatively obvious impact on export amounts. Overseas autumn and winter stocking continued to advance, and export demand generally remained resilient.

On the seasonal factor side, the autumn-winter transition combined with overseas stocking has brought the industry into the traditional "Golden September and Silver October" peak season. Downstream weaving and dyeing operating rates in the chemical fiber sector rebounded marginally, industry inventories are at a low level for the same period in history, peak-season demand elasticity may be released, and the prosperity of supporting segments such as dyes and chemical fibers is rising in tandem. Liu Youhua, research director of PaiPaiWang Wealth, made the above analysis in an interview with a Securities Daily reporter.

For the used clothing and textile recycling industry, the resilience of apparel exports, the rebound in domestic textile capacity utilization, and changes in the prosperity of supporting segments are all reference indicators for observing the rhythm of the global apparel supply chain. In the export structure, the growth rate of finished apparel is significantly higher than that of textile raw materials, which also reflects from one side that overseas demand for finished garments remains relatively strong.
