The Namwon Senior Welfare Center in South Korea will hold an event called the "ESG Project Love the Earth Sharing Mini Charity Sale" on the 30th of this month in the front yard of the senior cafeteria at the welfare center. The event invites elderly users of the welfare center, local residents, and staff to participate together, promoting resource recycling and environmental protection through donating and exchanging clothing, household goods, and other items, while also fostering a community culture of sharing.

The charity sale site features multiple types of stalls. The secondhand goods area trades clothing, household items, miscellaneous goods, and small home appliances; the agricultural products area supplies sweet potatoes, dried chili peppers, pumpkins, ginger, dried vegetables, and coarse grains. The event also includes food and cultural performances, including snack stalls such as pancakes and fish cakes, as well as street performances by the Chunhyang Silver Orchestra and the Saxophone Volunteer Group. In addition, attendees can participate in a spinning wheel lottery to answer environmental knowledge quiz questions and learn about environmental common sense that can be practiced in daily life.

Welfare Center Director Jang Jin-seok said that this event brings elderly people, local residents, and employees together to think about environmental issues and share warmth, and he hopes that small acts of sharing and practice can become the cornerstone of building a sustainable Earth.

This event combines secondhand reuse with resident interaction, intending to carry the spirit of sharing experienced at the charity sale into daily resource circulation actions.
