An AI startup called Guideless has recently completed a €1 million pre-seed funding round, which will be used to accelerate product development, expand the team, and grow into the UK, European, and US markets. Notably, several key figures from secondhand clothing e-commerce platform Vinted participated in this round, and the platform is also an early customer of Guideless.
Guideless's AI platform can automatically generate and update workflow training documentation. Users can operate systems as normal while the AI captures the steps, automatically generating illustrated tutorials, highlighting and zoom effects, voiceovers, and subtitles, and automatically adapting them to the company's branding. Completed tutorials can be easily edited, translated, and adapted for different markets. Compared with manual writing, the tool improves documentation production efficiency by up to 10x and supports AI voiceovers in more than 40 languages, making it easy for multinational companies to localize training without re-recording.
This funding round was led by Superhero Capital, with participation from FIRSTPICK VC and several angel investors, including Vinted Group CEO Thomas Plantenga, Vinted Go CEO Vytautas Atkočaitis, and Vinted co-founder Mantas Mikuckas. Vinted itself is also an early adopter of the tool, using it to optimize and update its internal knowledge base. According to Thomas Plantenga, previously after each Vinted interface update, it often took weeks of manual work to rebuild operating guides, but with Guideless, this process can now be almost automatically managed.
Guideless co-founder and CEO Evaldas Bieliūnas worked at Vinted Go for many years and deeply understands the pain points multinational teams face in employee onboarding and workflow training. He said that in an environment where people, tools, and processes are constantly changing, software-driven companies need an operational memory layer that continuously accumulates and evolves, and AI makes it possible to build this unified, dynamic training and operational knowledge system.
Secondhand clothing trading platforms often operate across multiple countries and handle large volumes of standardized processes such as orders, buyer customer service, and merchant onboarding. AI-based automated training tools fit this need precisely, helping reduce internal training costs and improve operational consistency, and may offer a typical reference value for the entire secondhand clothing e-commerce industry.
