Vinted, the globally renowned second-hand clothing trading platform, recently announced a collaboration with media giant Banijay Entertainment and advertising group WPP Media to co-produce a pan-European lifestyle reality show titled Live Better for Less. The program is produced by Electric Robin, a Banijay UK company, and is scheduled to premiere simultaneously in seven European countries in September 2026.
Each episode will focus on real-life struggles faced by ordinary families and individuals, such as clutter at home and tight budgets. Under the guidance of local hosts, participants are encouraged to examine their consumption habits and uncover hidden value by renting out or selling items they already own, through which Vinted's second-hand circular philosophy will also gain widespread exposure.
The show will be supported by AI localization service provider Adapt, including translation, voice generation, and lip-sync, to facilitate simultaneous distribution across different language markets. Broadcast platforms cover the UK, France, Germany, and Spain (Prime Video), the Netherlands (RTL 4), Poland (TVN Style), and Italy (Real Time).
Each country's version features talk show hosts or organization experts as presenters. The Dutch version notably invites television host Chimène van Oosterhout, who has a background in psychology; the UK version is led by Motsi Mabuse; and the German version features well-known media personality Riccardo Simonetti.
The three parties in this cross-industry collaboration are industry leaders: Banijay is the world's leading content producer; Vinted is the leading brand in the second-hand trading market; and WPP holds the top position in the advertising industry. Their complementary strengths allow the environmental philosophy of trading old clothes for new ones to reach ordinary households through mainstream celebrities. This signals that second-hand clothing circularity is no longer confined to online community exchanges, but aims to lead a shift in mindset within the broader mass entertainment and leisure market.
