The global fan club of actor Zhang Linghe recently teamed up with clothing recycling organization "Dangdang Yixia" to launch the fifth phase of a charity clothing recycling campaign called "Clothes Journey with Lingfeng, Walking Together with He," providing targeted aid to Guan'e Tibetan Primary School in Gansu Province.

Unlike simple material deliveries, this initiative adopts a "weight-for-goods" mechanism: idle clothes donated by fans are converted based on total recycling weight into stationery, extracurricular reading materials, sports equipment, and other study and daily necessities, which are then matched to the school's actual needs.

According to a comprehensive report by Xiaoxiang Morning News Chen Video, as of press time, the fifth phase has collected over 1 tonne in donations. Combined with the previous four phases, the project's cumulative donated material weight has exceeded 8 tonnes.

From an industry perspective, combining fan support with clothing recycling offers a visible charitable chain for idle textiles: recycling platforms handle sorting and valuation, fan communities provide a stable supply, and mountain schools become the ultimate beneficiaries. For recycling companies, such partnerships with clear audiences and outreach potential may help boost participation in clothing recycling among younger demographics.
